Everyone loves a hearty stew. Enjoy this extremely simple but satisfying beef and veggie stew especially on a cold day. This dish is great eaten fresh or even after being refrigerated for a few days.

  • 1.5 lb Beef chuck
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 5 tsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup Flour
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 cups Beef broth
  • 10 ounce Tomato sauce
  • 4 whole Carrots
  • 3 whole Potatoes
  • 3 stems Celery
  • 1 medium Yellow onion
  • 1 medium Red pepper
  • 4 cloves Garlic


  • Prep all veggies to small same sizes for easy cooking
  • Combine flour, salt, pepper in a zip lock bag. Place pieces of beef chuck inside to coat all around.
  • Preheat pan with oil on medium high heat and place beef inside to brown.
  • Add beef and chopped veggies to crockpot. Season with remainder of ingredients.
  • Set on low for 8.5 hours and enjoy


  • The dish develops more flavor as you let it sit in the fridge overnight.
  • Feel free to freeze for up to 2 months.
